Our R&D team is currently working on world-leading technology to improve the design and efficacy of medical prosthetics. Driven by our extensive experience in clinical practice, our products address common problems and shortcomings of widely used medical devices.
We currently have a provisional patent registered for a next-generation artificial knee prosthesis and expect to file the final patent in Geneva, Switzerland during 2019.
Dr Lipalo Mokete is a fellowship trained joint replacement surgeon specializing in all aspects of hip and knee reconstructive surgery.
He has a wealth of experience relating to first time joint replacement procedures, partial joint replacements and repeat surgery for failed and infected joint replacements.
He is the first robotic joint replacement certified surgeon in South Africa and he has embraced the technology and is competent on multiple robotic platforms. He is active in teaching and research and he has a special interest in new bearing technologies in joint replacements.
